Presenting Problems:
Clients can be self-referred for assistance with substance abuse issues, although many are referred for evaluation and treatment recommendations. Some referral sources include Probation & Parole, local Courts, Department of Family Services, Medical Practices, Inpatient Treatment Centers, and other Mental Health Agencies.
Services Provided:
Alcohol and Drug Abuse counseling
Clients are evaluated for their relationship with substance use/abuse and recommendations are made as needed for education, intervention, treatment, aftercare or referral based on their biopsychosocial needs. Counseling can be provided in both individual and group settings.
Substance Abuse Traffic Offenders Program (SATOP)
A state program for the assessment and referral of DWI offenders. Clients are seen for an initial assessment and are then referred to a level of intervention or treatment appropriate to their relationship with alcohol and driving history.
Funding:
Purchase of Service (POS) Funding is available based on the state's Standard Means Test. (limited funds available)
Insurance may cover some substance abuse counseling.
Medicaid Accepted.
